Terms of use

Cropmark is a free tool, provided as is. Using it means agreeing to three things: use it lawfully, stay within the fair-use limits, and check the PDF before you rely on it. Your documents stay yours, and Cropmark keeps no copy of them.

The service

Cropmark is a web editor that turns Markdown into PDF, with an HTTP API, operated by Cropmark. It is free and needs no account.

Fair use

Each address may export up to 20 PDFs a minute, with up to 2 MB of Markdown per document. Scripts and integrations are welcome within these limits. Do not try to get around them — for example by rotating addresses — or to overload the service.

What you may not do

Convert content that is illegal or that infringes the rights of others; use the service to reach private networks or other systems, including through the images a document links to; probe, attack or disrupt the service.

Your documents

What you write and the PDFs you download are yours, and you are responsible for them. They are processed in memory to produce the PDF and not stored: see Privacy.

No warranty

Cropmark is provided as is, without any guarantee of availability or of fitness for a particular purpose. Check an important PDF before you send it.

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect damage or loss arising from the use of the service or from its being unavailable.

Changes

These terms and the service may change; the date below shows the version in force. Questions: contact@cropmark.app.
