Privacy

Your text and your settings — theme, paper size, margins — are kept in your browser’s local storage so they are still there next time. They never reach us. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them.

Only when you download a PDF: the Markdown text and the page settings, sent over HTTPS. The server renders the PDF in memory, sends it back and discards both. Documents are not written to disk and not written to logs.

If your document contains images with a web address, our server fetches them at that moment to put them in the PDF.

Per day: how many times each page was viewed, and how many PDFs were exported — with whether they contained diagrams or formulas, the paper size and the theme. We also count how many exports came from a browser that had exported before; your browser keeps that yes/no flag, not us.

No IP address, no identifier and no cookie is involved in these counts, and there is no analytics or advertising service on this site.

Visits by programs — search engines, AI crawlers, link previews — are counted apart, by the program’s name, so they do not inflate the page views. Your browser’s identification string is read for that and then dropped; it is never stored.

To enforce the limit of 20 exports a minute, your IP address is held in the server’s memory for one minute. It is never written to disk.

None. Fonts, scripts and styles are all served from this site, and there is no analytics, advertising or embedded widget. The only requests to other domains are for images your own document links to, which your browser loads to show them in the preview.
