Turn a Claude answer into a print-ready PDF

Claude writes in Markdown, so its answers and documents convert cleanly: copy the answer with the copy button, paste it here and download. Long technical answers keep their structure — headings become PDF bookmarks, code wraps instead of running off the page, and every page is numbered.

How to export from Claude

  1. Copy from Claude

Use the copy button under the answer. If Claude produced a separate document, copy its contents or save it as a .md file and drop the file here.

  2. Check the document

Add [TOC] under the title for a linked table of contents. The preview shows the page to scale.

  3. Download the PDF

Numbered pages, bookmarks from your headings and clickable links, in one click.

Made for long answers

  • Bookmarks

Every heading becomes an entry in the PDF’s sidebar outline.

  • Table of contents

[TOC] on its own line builds a contents list that links to each section.

  • Code, highlighted and wrapped

Fenced code in 26 languages keeps its colors and never runs off the page.

  • No stranded headings

A heading is never left alone at the bottom of a page.

Questions

Does Cropmark work with documents Claude creates?

Yes, when the document is Markdown: copy it or save it as a .md file and open it here. Code can be printed with highlighting by pasting it inside a fenced code block.

Is my text sent to Anthropic or used for training?

No. Cropmark is independent and is not affiliated with Anthropic. Your text goes nowhere while you write; on download it is rendered in memory and discarded.

Can I keep Claude’s tables and lists?

Yes. Tables, nested lists, task lists, quotes and footnotes all carry over as they appear in the answer.

How do I add a table of contents?

Type [TOC] on its own line, usually under the title. It lists the ## and ### sections with links.
